Prophets are tasked with faithfully speaking the true Word of God to the people. Ephesians 2:20 describes how Apostles and Prophets were instrumental in the foundation of the Church, with Jesus Christ as the "chief cornerstone". Consider the story of Daniel and King Nebechadnezzar, found in Daniel 2:26-28a: "The king asked Daniel (also called Belteshazzar), “Are you able to tell me what I saw in my dream and interpret it?” Daniel replied, “No wise man, enchanter, magician or diviner can explain to the king the mystery he has asked about, but there is a God in heaven who reveals mysteries. He has shown King Nebuchadnezzar what will happen in days to come." 

Our God is a God who reveals mystery and provides direction! It it through Him that we are delivered and restored.
